Seek Ye The Truth Bookshelf

Seek The Truth is a Biblical and historical comparison between actual events in history and the Bible as compared with the evangelist who is said to have started or strongly influenced the Charasmatic movement, William Marrion Branham.

It will take you through the foundation for the ministry of William Branham, from the visions and the prayer lines to the teachings of the seven Church Angels. With each teaching, it will compare the ideas brought forth by Rev. Branham to actual history and biblical teachings.

Finally it will take you through the journey of one man's struggle to find the truth, and how God helped him along the way.

Many of the things William Branham said from behind the pulpit simply were not true.  From unbelievable spiritual events proven to be caused by the United States Air Force to claims of visions that grew over time to invented scriptures and Bible verses taken out of context, Branham wove a tangled mess of half-truths.  As a listener, it is very difficult to determine what is fact verses what is fiction.  These books take the portions that are true, separate them from the portions that are false, and show the threads of half-truth to the reader.

At the same time, these books are designed to point the reader back to the Bible above all.  The Truth can be found in God's Word, and the goal of these books are to let the Word of God stand and every man be found a liar.

If you are struggling with bible verses you thought were real and cannot find in your bible, or have fictitious historical facts clouding your mind, these books may help you.  (read more)

This is a story that many will recognize, though it has not happened yet. This is a story that many will identify with, though it is for another time and place. This is a story that will offend many who can recognize themselves as a person who would take a side in the story that seems to be good in the time we live in today, and a story that will give pride to a person who would take another other side in today’s world, giving them reason to continue living as they do.

This is a story of the future, and what it will become if things continue as they do now.

Read it, and let the Holy Spirit move into your hearts as the words start to reveal his Truth to you.

In an investigative report by the local news in Jeffersonville, IN about the “Message” organization (the followers of the William Marrion Branham movement), a quote by William Branham himself was played to the public that pointed out his view of women wearing makeup. In this quote, he called the women of his day “dog meat,” with the intention that all women wearing these cosmetics should be fed to the dogs.

This book examines this doctrine of insults towards women made public by William Marrion Branham.

Balaam was a diviner, which was condemned in the Laws given to the children of Israel. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 clearly forbids any acts of divination, describing them as something detestable to God, and Leviticus 19:26 says, "You must not practice either divination or soothsaying." Balaam could not prophecy against the children of Israel, but instead decided to spread idolatry into their camp and overtake them by evil rather than by curse.

The exact opposite of this story of Balaam, which is considered one of the greatest evils described in the entire Bible, is the story of the Nativity. The Birth of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in the Bible, and should be revered and respected by all Christians -- it is the event that has given them new life.  This book examines the prophecy of Balaam, and how his evil has survived throughout the ages.

Even after his untimely death in 1965, the legacy of William Marrion Branham continues. Considered as one of the founding fathers of the Charismatic Movement, Branham is a well-known name in the circles of the faith-healers.

This book examines the legacy of William Marrion Branham.

I was born and raised in a cult.  Though this is a shocking statement, and implies exactly the same underlying meaning as the reader might assume, I can be sure that some minds are picturing dark robes, candles on the floor, and some old guy peering through a hood with dark beady eyes. Not so.

This book is an examination of not only the William Branham cult called "The Message," but an examination of how cults in general evolved over time. While many may feel that this particular cult is unique, we quickly find that it has its roots all the way back to Cain and Abel and slithers through time like the trail of a serpent.

William Branham claimed as "Thus Saith The Lord" that his 1952 trip to India would convert three hundred thousand people. After the men in Branham's campaign left him and the trip did not happen until 1954, Branham did not have a successful meeting. He blamed the failure of this vision on himself. Did God really fail, or did William Branham speak presumptuously?

This book walks you through the vision before it was proclaimed to be prophecy, the campaign managers that fled, the growing and changing vision, and finally how and when it failed.

It is well-known that William Branham fasted every Friday throughout his ministry, and had excessive fasting routines on seeking a vision or to get "vibrations" for his healing campaigns.

The question is, does this practice line up with the scriptures? What other religions practice the same fasting events in their spiritual worship?

Sola scriptura is Latin for "by scripture alone." It is the idea the Bible contains all knowledge necessary for salvation and holiness. This, in fact, was one of my motives to dig deeper. Was William Branham really "sola scriptura?" I truly believe that all teaching should be filtered through the Bible. If it agrees with the Bible, then the teaching is accurate. If not, then we are following a false teaching, and likely a false teacher.

Was William Branham "Sola Scriptura?"

Jesus speaks of the dreadful events that Zechariah describe. He warned them that the time would catch people unaware. Many would be celbrating just as it was in the days of Noah when they were taken by surprise.

John writes in Revelation 10 that there would be a great celebration at the killing of the two witnesses. Jesus said it was also like the days of Lot, when they were celebrating and building. Fire and sulfur caught them unaware.

William Branham said that his ministry was the "Evening Light," yet the Bible says that all of these things must happen before the "Evening Light" comes.

Peter Duyzer's book, "Legend Of The Fall" is a timely document exposing the heretical teachings of William Branham. Most books on cults or new religious movements have ignored the Branham movement. Others who have written about William Branham have tended to classify his movement as fringe Christianity. Duyzer has corrected this pattern by a thorough investigation of the sermons, and statements of Branham.

Duyzer's research, in effect, has provided us with a "systematic theology" of William Branham's beliefs and teachings. It is obvious from the contents of this book that Branhamism is more than a group of misguided Charismatics with a few points of theology gone awry.

Legend of the Fall should be included in every bookshelf that includes research surrounding William Branham. It can be obtained here.

Buy The FREE Books!

It has been said by some preachers and even posted by a argumentative person on our Facebook page that we started this site for monetary gain, which would be humorous were you to compare our combined total incomes for any year against one year of theirs. Nothing could be more opposite from the truth.

We want you to download the free books, like thousands of people already have. But unfortunately, not everyone has access to the internet. Others simply like to read either a hardcopy or on their preferred digital devices.

For this reason, we offer the books on the Kindle store for digital readers and in Amazon books for those who prefer hardcopies. Neither of these marketplaces offer free books except during special promotions, which we have signed up for as often as Amazon will allow.

So there is no question in anyone's mind behind our motives, and so that all can openly see that we do this only to spread the Truth as far and as wide and as quickly as possible, we've taken screenshots of the pricing pages for a Kindle book and a Amazon paperback.

Kindle

The Kindle store allows a minimum price of $.99 per digital book.  We have set the pricing in other countries to automatically adjust itself based on the current currency rates to maintain the minimum cost.  This does produce a very small royalty, which is applied to our hosting fees for the web servers.  To date, the royalties collected have not yet reached .0001% of the hosting fees, which means expenses still remain greater than profit.

Amazon Paperback

Amazon paperback pricing is based on the number of pages, the size of the file, the colors and images in the file, and other factors.  Prices vary based on printing cost, and we have chosen the minimum in each category, which gives us $0.00 royalties.
